Driving Directions to Rice
Meng Yeh, lecturer in Chinese, will receive a $200,000 Star Grant to promote Chinese language education in Texas through teacher and student programs in the summer of 2009. It will provide free workshops for 50 teachers and summer classes for 350-400 middle/high school students in the greater Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio areas.
