North Point Press has published The Poetry of Rilke, translated and edited by Edward Snow, Professor of English and Mary Gibbs Endowed Chair in Humanities, with an introduction by Adam Zagajewski.  The first review of the book appeared in the Wall Street Journal on October 10, 2009.

Professor Snow will give a reading from the new collection of poems at the Menil Collection on December 8, 2009, in conjunction with a series of events around the artist Cy Twombley, who has incorporated words/phrases from Rilke's poetry within some of his art.
