Xavier Elizondo

Philosophy Major | Baker College

Xavier Elizondo is a philosophy major from Baker College. His research interest was the German education system, and how it pertains to the refugees Germany takes in. During the Summer of 2022, he used the Moody Fund to teach languages to students of various backgrounds in Southwestern Germany. During his time there, he was able to work in classes that were entirely refugees from various regions. As a result of this experience, Xavier was able to teach English, German (to refugees), and Spanish to students of all backgrounds. In his free time, he loves to learn languages and play video games. He is extremely thankful for the Moody Fund for allowing him to combine both his passion of learning languages and his research interest of the German education system.
