Mrs. Carlson earned a J.D. from the University of Texas School
of Law and practiced law for a number of years. She is a
partner in Carlson Capital, L.P., a member of the Rice University
Board of Trustees and a board member of TACA, the Dallas Children's
Theater and Texas Ballet Theater.
