Capital Budget Requests
Each year, usually at the first of the calendar year, the Office of the Dean of Humanities asks its departments, centers, and programs to submit requests for capital budget needs. Requests for capital funding may be for facilities improvement, space upgrades, or equipment to support curriculum and instruction. Requests must include a budget, be $50,000 or more, and must have a 15% funding contribution identified for the project. If needed, please include a sole source justification if the work requires contracting an individual specialist, licensed professional, or have unique needs as identified by the department. For more information on capital budget requests, processes, and requirements, call Denise Michalak, Division Finance Budget Manager in the School of Humanities.
All Capital Budget Requests must be reviewed and approved by the Dean of Humanities.
