Ellen (Danning) Sun is a Junior majoring in English and History with a minor in PLST at Rice. Ellen is an international student from China and their main research interest focuses on East Asian protest culture, including China and South Korea. As a Moody Fellow, Ellen is conducting a research on the legacy of May Forth Movement and its inheritance during the June Forth Movement. Apart from this, Ellen is also interested in queer and feminism theories, resistance literature, and trying to learn a new language beyond Duolingo stage 1.
