Lajward Zahra is a junior studying English with minors in Politics, Law, and Social Thought and the Study of Women, Gender, and Sexuality. She is a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow and a Medical Humanities Fellow. As an independent journalist, her work has appeared in The Nation, The American Prospect, Teen Vogue, Prism, and other outlets, with a reporting focus on Texas, immigration, and young people.
