Lajward Zahra is a junior studying English with minors in Politics, Law, and Social Thought and the Study of Women, Gender, and Sexuality. She is a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow, a Medical Humanities Fellow, and currently a writing fellow with The Nation. As an independent journalist, her work has appeared in The Nation, The American Prospect, Teen Vogue, Prism and other outlets.
