Veda Kadakia is a sophomore studying Spanish & Portuguese and Medical Humanities at Rice University. When she's not enjoying the opportunities that campus has to offer, she is passionate about Hindustani vocal music and continues to study with her singing school in the Houston suburbs. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school and draw on her humanities and music background to approach medicine not only as a science, but as a practice of understanding and healing through the arts.
