Antara Varma is a current sophomore at Brown College studying English Literature and Global Affairs. As a writer, poet, and aspiring postcolonial scholar, she is particularly interested in studying the artistic, literary, and political traditions of South Asia, female economic empowerment, and environmental sustainability. In her free time, you can find her writing for the Rice Journal of Public Policy, podcasting for KPFT’s Gulf Streams, or doing bad impressions.
