Sarah is currently a junior at Brown, majoring in English with a concentration in creative writing with minors in CMST as well as PLST. Sarah is particularly interested in publishing and the film industries. As such, Sarah is working as a projectionist at Rice Cinema. Other interesting projects include: creating a digital archive for the stories of the Brazoria County Plantations, helping restore the Burrell Chapel Cemetery. and being the publishing director for the Rice Historical Review.
Fascinated by the clash between politics and creative culture, Sarah's research centers around queer studies, Old Hollywood, and the Second Red Scare. She is currently working on a historical fiction novel set in 1950s Hollywood in which an actor grows paranoid over a communist plot to attack America.
