Campus Sustainability
Rice University is dedicated to environmental issues beyond the classroom, as reflected in Campus Sustainability Efforts such as LEED Certified Buildings, recycling, access to B-Cycle and Zipcar, and more. Additionally, there are a number of environmentally focused student organizations that students may get involved in, such as Environmental Club, Rice Oceans Club, or Rice Initiative for a Sustainable and Ethical Today. There are also opportunities for sustainably focused employment on campus, through internships with the Administrative Center for Sustainability and Energy Management, and through the Eco-Rep program.
