Basma Bedawi is a Junior at Hanzen College (HFH!) studying Sociology, Social Policy Analysis, and English with a Concentration in Creative Writing. She is primarily interested in media's intersection with society, looking at how representation affects public perception and actions and vice versa. Around campus she is also involved in ktru, R2: The Rice Review, The Rice Journal for Public Policy, and is Co-Editor in Chief of The Wild Grain.
