The School of Humanities has eight departments, 15 centers and programs,160 faculty members, and highly ranked programs in disciplines such as English, history, philosophy, and art.
Two School of Humanities graduate programs are nationally ranked (English: #35 and History: #34); Niche ranks our Visual and Dramatic Arts Department as #5 in the country; History is ranked 10th and English 11th; both English and History are ranked as best among colleges in Texas. College Factual ranks History in the top 5%, Art, English and Philosophy in the top 15% in the country.
