We greatly appreciate and thank our generous audience for the many years of successful Campbell lectures. However, for the safety of our community, faculty, and staff, we have decided to postpone the fall 2020 lecture. As we all know, these are uncertain times and we look forward to once again bringing nationally and internationally recognized scholars and artists to campus to continue this insightful and exciting lecture series.

The Campbell Lecture Series is organized by the School of Humanities Dean’s Office, with generous support from the Campbell Foundation. The mission of the lecture series is to bring distinguished scholars in the arts, literature and humanities to Rice to discuss their work and career, while supporting engagement between scholar and student.
